016: So Many Yums in Clapham Junction
Saturday the 7th of August, 2010
Drooooool. Today Brayden & I went on a little adventure in an area called Clapham Junction (my new nannying job is just up the road from here). We spent a good 45min in a bookstore where we both purchased some lovely reads (Brayden- Lots of travel guides, Tash- A travel novel and an order on a book about the genocide in Rwanda… ok not going to be a lovely read but a very interesting and moving one nonetheless) then we strolled through the streets littered with boutiques, restaurants and cafes. We decided to dine at a burger place called Gourmet Burger Kitchen. This chain was developed by a New Zealand-er and is sweeping the UK. They serve all kinds of delicious burgers (beef, lamb, chicken, veggie etc…) with equally delicious sides such as chunky fries and mammoth onion rings followed by what I am told are incredible milkshakes (I am not a big dairy fan so I’ll have coke with mine please!). Ahhh such a lovely Saturday.
